Annapurna Transverse and Sanctuary Trek

In Oct/ Nov 2010 we did the Annapurna Circuit and Sanctuary trek with Prem Panta of Mountain Mart Trekking - what an amazing trip! Prem came highly recommended by other South African hikers and we totally support their recommendation! Other hikers referred to us as the \"rock stars\" as he looked after us so well!

Prem is an excellent guide, he tailor made a trip for four of us based on the areas we wanted to go to. He gave great recommendations and is very knowledgable, he is easy going & flexible and we highly recommend him to other independent travellers who would prefer to trek in the Himalayas with a guide.

The Annapurna circuit is incredibly beautiful and has diverse scenary - it is 23 days if you include the Sanctuary up to ABC which we loved! If your time is short, there is there is a possiblitiy to take a jeep from Muktinah to Marpha - but it would be a pity to miss the old town of Kagbeni.

All in all an incredible experience and we look forward to our next Nepal adventure with Prem to Everest Base camp in November/ December 2012.

We Feel very lucky o experience an amazing service of the company. Badri was looking after us with care, same as Sujan and hari – our porters. Badri’s knowledge about mountains, first AID, guidance is very impressive. We had lots of lovely moments during the trekking, lots laughter and eventually we be came friends. We went to trekking with Badri and we enjoyed it very much. He was looking after us with care, waiting for me because I’d got problem with altitude and care very good explications at all our questions about country, landscape, people, religion etc. we kept a very good memory good memory of this trek. The 3 dt for Gillou, The 5th for me. We hardly recommend badri as a guide.
