The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a classic Himalayan trekking adventure in Nepal, offering breathtaking mountain views, lush forests, and rich cultural experiences. This trek takes you through the beautiful Mardi Himal region and traditional Gurung villages to reach the Annapurna Sanctuary, a high-altitude glacial basin surrounded by the majestic Annapurna range. Trekkers enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Gangapurna, and Hiunchuli, combined with encounters with local culture and wildlife. Ideal for beginners and seasoned trekkers alike, the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek provides a memorable Himalayan journey guided by Mountain Mart Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is one of the major Annapurna Region Treks which is the fusion of Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Poon-Hill sunrise Trek. The trek is specially tailored by MMT to offer the pristine scenery, panoramic view of mountains and close up sunrise view over the mighty Annapurna I (8091m/26,554ft) from Poon Hill. Beside these, the main highlights of the trek are the magnificent and stupendous view of gleaming peaks including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchre (fishtail), Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, etc from the Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchre Base Camp(3,00m/12,140ft).
The sanctuary Trek is enticing and appealing as the trek follows trail along the glacial stream perceiving Hinuchuli, Machhapuchre, and Annapurna range en-route. The trek begins from Kathmandu to Pokhara on flight and then moves further to the low land of Annapurna Region Nayapul on 4 wheel drive. The real trek commences from Nayapul to the Base Camp of the world’s tenth highest peak Mt. Annapurna tracing the villages and seasonal tea houses like Ghorepani, Chhomrong, Sinuwa, Himalaya, MBC and ABC. Trekking through these villages portrays the religious importance as trekkers are prohibited to carry meat and egg.
The villages also have multicultural as well as multiracial society where people appreciate other religion and treat people equally. The people of this region also treat the guest as god and provide standard and amiable hospitality. The trek is not just walking through the Annapurna trekking trails, witnessing the coruscating mountains and enjoying the serene village life; but also an opportunity to visit UNESCO world heritage sites and explore the cultural, religious, architectural prolificacy and diversity of Kathmandu during city excursion on day 2. Another unique experience of the trek is to soak the tired body, take natural bathe in natural hot-spring and get relaxed at the natural Hot spring of Jhinu Danda. There is a belief that dipping in natural hot spring improves blood circulation, reveal pain and heal skin problems. The other worth visit place during the trek after ABC, MBC, Poon-Hill, Kathmandu and Jhinu is Pokhara: the main tourist hub of Nepal where we get chance to explore the city of lake and enjoy the modern amenities.
The highest point of the trek is ABC at an elevation of 4,130m/13,550ft) and there is no high risk of AMS below 4000-5000m; so 15 days Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is scheduled without acclimatization days. The Trek traces through the ridges, dense forest, terraced farmland, avalanche area and stone paved trails which are moderate and can be accomplished by any trekkers with average physical fitness; however, the steep staircase above Jhinu and after Chhomrong could be strenuous and demanding for few trekkers. Trekking in Annapurna region is appropriate in any season; yet spring and autumn are the best trekking seasons to experience the real heaven on Earth.

Planning your Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (also known as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek) in Nepal requires reliable travel insurance, emergency rescue coverage, and proper safety preparation. Although this trek is considered moderate, it reaches Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), where altitude, weather changes, and remote terrain make comprehensive trekking insurance essential for a safe and worry-free Himalayan adventure.
Before starting your trek from Pokhara, ensure your travel insurance covers trekking up to 4,500 meters (recommended for safety margin). A proper insurance policy should include:
✔️ High-altitude trekking coverage
✔️ Emergency helicopter rescue and evacuation
✔️ Medical treatment and hospital expenses
✔️ Trip cancellation or interruption
✔️ Accidental injury and repatriation
✔️ Lost, stolen, or delayed baggage
Important Note: Helicopter evacuation from Annapurna Base Camp or Machhapuchhre Base Camp can cost USD 3,000–5,000, depending on altitude, location, and weather conditions. Without insurance, this must be paid upfront.
The Annapurna Sanctuary route passes through villages such as Chhomrong, Deurali, and Machhapuchhre Base Camp, but medical facilities are limited at higher elevations. In case of injury, Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), or sudden illness, immediate action is crucial.
Rescue Procedure During Emergencies:
1️⃣ Inform your trekking guide immediately.
2️⃣ Your trekking agency coordinates with local rescue services and your insurance provider.
3️⃣ Helicopter evacuation is arranged from the nearest safe landing zone.
4️⃣ Transfer to a hospital in Pokhara or Kathmandu for treatment.
Nepal has professional and reliable helicopter rescue services operating in the Annapurna region for fast emergency response.
Although popular and well-established, the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek involves:
High altitude (above 4,000m)
Steep ascents and descents
Narrow mountain trails
Cold temperatures and sudden weather changes
Remote terrain with limited healthcare access
Comprehensive insurance with evacuation coverage provides financial protection, safety assurance, and peace of mind throughout your journey.
✔️ Carry printed and digital copies of your insurance policy
✔️ Confirm altitude coverage (minimum 4,500m recommended)
✔️ Share insurance details with your trekking agency before departure
✔️ Hire a licensed and experienced trekking guide
✔️ Stay hydrated and acclimatize properly
✔️ Walk slowly (“Bistari Bistari”) and monitor your health daily
The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek offers breathtaking mountain scenery, glacier views, and a close encounter with the Annapurna massif. However, safety preparation is crucial at higher elevations.
With proper travel insurance, emergency evacuation coverage, and professional support, you can fully enjoy the journey to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) without unnecessary risk or financial stress.
For a safe, professional, and well-organized Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, always travel prepared, insured, and guided by experienced trekking professionals in Nepal.
During the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (Annapurna Base Camp Trek), electricity and battery charging facilities are available in most villages along the route. However, services become more limited and slightly expensive at higher elevations such as Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). Proper power planning ensures you stay connected, capture stunning Himalayan landscapes, and share your adventure without interruption.
Villages along the Annapurna Sanctuary route — including Chhomrong, Bamboo, Deurali, Machhapuchhre Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp — generally have electricity supplied through hydroelectric power at lower elevations and solar energy at higher altitudes.
Trekkers should note:
✔️ Electricity may not be available 24/7 in remote areas
✔️ Solar charging is common at higher elevations
✔️ Cloudy weather can affect solar power supply
✔️ Power outages may occur due to weather or maintenance
Electricity becomes more basic and limited as you ascend toward Annapurna Base Camp.
Charging fees are usually applied per device and increase with altitude:
Chhomrong / Bamboo: USD 1–2 per device
Deurali: USD 2–3 per device
Machhapuchhre Base Camp / Annapurna Base Camp: USD 3–5 per device
Charges apply separately for:
Mobile phones
Cameras
Power banks
Laptops (if allowed)
It is recommended to carry small Nepali currency for charging payments.
✔️ Paid Wi-Fi is available in many teahouses (connection may be slow or unstable at higher elevations)
✔️ Mobile network coverage is available in lower villages
✔️ Signal may be weak or unavailable near Annapurna Base Camp
✔️ Data services are not always reliable in remote sections
For better connectivity, local SIM cards (NTC or Ncell) are recommended, but coverage cannot be guaranteed at high altitude.
✔️ Carry a high-capacity power bank (10,000–20,000mAh or more)
✔️ Bring spare camera batteries
✔️ Use airplane mode when not actively using your phone
✔️ Reduce screen brightness to save battery
✔️ Keep electronics warm inside your sleeping bag at night
✔️ Charge devices whenever electricity is available
Cold temperatures at higher altitudes can drain batteries quickly, so proper storage is important.
Electricity on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is basic but manageable with proper preparation. Planning ahead and carrying backup power ensures you can fully enjoy glacier views, sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp, and breathtaking Himalayan panoramas without stress.
With smart power management, your trek remains safe, connected, and unforgettable, allowing you to focus on the spectacular mountain scenery and cultural experiences of the Annapurna region.
While booking your Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (also known as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek), it’s important to understand the personal expenses not included in most standard trekking packages. Although meals and accommodation are typically covered in full-board packages, daily personal spending may vary depending on comfort preferences and use of lodge facilities.
The trek passes through villages such as Chhomrong, Bamboo, Deurali, Machhapuchhre Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), where goods are transported by porters or mules. As altitude increases, prices gradually rise due to transportation challenges. Proper budgeting ensures a smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable Himalayan journey.
Meals are usually included in trekking packages, but drinks and extra beverages are additional.
Average Prices:
Tea / Coffee: USD 2–4 per cup
Hot Lemon / Ginger Honey Tea: USD 3–5
Bottled Water: USD 2–4 (higher at base camp)
Soft Drinks: USD 3–5
Beer: USD 5–8
💡 Tip: Carry a reusable water bottle with purification tablets or a water filter to reduce bottled water expenses and support eco-friendly trekking.
Most teahouses along the Annapurna Sanctuary route provide electricity and internet for an extra fee.
Estimated Costs:
Mobile charging: USD 2–4 per device
Power bank charging: USD 3–5
Wi-Fi internet: USD 3–6 (connection may be slow at higher altitudes)
Wi-Fi is available in major villages but becomes weaker near Annapurna Base Camp. Charging is typically done in the shared dining area.
Comfort facilities are available but cost extra, especially at higher elevations.
Hot Shower: USD 3–6 per use
Laundry Service (if available): USD 5–10
Extra blankets: Small additional charge
At Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, prices are slightly higher due to logistics.
It is highly recommended to purchase snacks and personal essentials in Pokhara before starting your trek.
Average Trail Prices:
Chocolate / Energy Bars: USD 2–4
Biscuits / Chips: USD 2–3
Toiletries: More expensive than city prices
💡 Budget Tip: Stock up in Pokhara to minimize extra spending along the trail.
Tipping is customary and appreciated in Nepal’s trekking culture. Guides and porters work hard to ensure your safety and comfort at high altitude.
Recommended Guidelines:
Guide: USD 10–15 per day (per group basis)
Porter: USD 7–10 per day
The exact amount depends on service quality and group size.
For the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, trekkers should budget:
👉 USD 15–25 per day for personal expenses
👉 Slightly more if consuming alcohol, using Wi-Fi frequently, or taking regular hot showers
Since this trek reaches higher altitude (4,130m), daily expenses are slightly higher than shorter, lower-altitude treks.
✔️ Carry enough Nepali cash (no ATMs along the trekking route)
✔️ Prices increase with altitude
✔️ Avoid unnecessary bottled water purchases
✔️ Plan daily personal spending in advance
✔️ Confirm clearly what is included in your trekking package
Personal expenses on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek are manageable with proper planning. By budgeting wisely, you can fully enjoy the breathtaking amphitheater of peaks surrounding Annapurna Base Camp, glacier views, traditional mountain villages, and unforgettable Himalayan landscapes—without unexpected financial surprises.
For a professional, safe, and well-organized Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, travel confidently with experienced trekking professionals in Nepal.
Hiring a professional guide and porter for the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (Annapurna Base Camp Trek) is highly recommended for safety, comfort, and a more enriching Himalayan experience. Although this trek is considered moderate, it reaches Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) and involves steep ascents, stone staircases, forest trails, and high-altitude terrain.
With experienced local support, trekking through Chhomrong, Bamboo, Deurali, Machhapuchhre Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp becomes safer, culturally immersive, and significantly more comfortable.
A licensed trekking guide ensures smooth logistics, proper acclimatization, and valuable cultural insights throughout the journey.

✔️ Proper altitude acclimatization guidance
✔️ Arrangement of teahouse accommodation and meals
✔️ In-depth knowledge of local Gurung and Magar culture
✔️ Weather updates and daily trek planning
✔️ Monitoring symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)
✔️ Emergency coordination and rescue management if needed
At higher elevations near Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), a guide plays a crucial role in ensuring safe pacing, health monitoring, and emergency preparedness.
The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek includes long uphill climbs (especially at Chhomrong) and continuous ascents toward base camp. Carrying a heavy backpack at altitude can be exhausting.
Hiring a porter allows you to trek comfortably with a light daypack while enjoying the breathtaking Himalayan scenery.

✔️ Reduces physical strain during steep climbs
✔️ Conserves energy at higher altitude
✔️ Allows better focus on photography and sightseeing
✔️ Supports local employment in the Annapurna region
✔️ Ideal for families and moderate-experience trekkers
With porter support, you can fully enjoy glacier views, mountain sunrises, and the natural amphitheater of the Annapurna massif without worrying about heavy luggage.
Licensed Guide: USD 30–35 per day
Porter: USD 20–25 per day
These costs typically include:
✔️ Staff salary
✔️ Meals and accommodation
✔️ Insurance coverage
✔️ Government taxes
Prices may vary depending on trekking season, group size, and itinerary length.
Hiring a professional team ensures:
✔️ Better pace management and acclimatization
✔️ Smooth communication with teahouse owners

✔️ Organized logistics from Pokhara
✔️ A stress-free and enjoyable trekking experience
Reputable trekking agencies provide licensed, trained, and insured staff equipped with proper gear and emergency knowledge.

I chose mountain mart treks for my trek due to how genuine they were in providing me with the trek to suit my needs. Straight up they were knowledgeable of the area I was interested in and were able to put together the entire trip on short notice with no hassles and include other activities I wanted along the way such as a weekend at Chitwan national park. My guide Prem was keen and helpful the entire time and was able to share a laugh and a few roxy’s with sukuti along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed my trek and highly recommend Mountain Mart to anyone who is looking to organise a trip.

Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking
In April 2022, we completed the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. This consisted of 10 full days trekking which were challenging but highly rewarding.
When we arrived in kathmandu we were greeted by a MMT associate who transported us to a nice hotel in Thamel. We then had a couple of nights in kathmandu where a city tour was organised for us and we were given time to prepare for the trek. We then flew to pokhara before starting. We started off in the lower parts of Annapurna region, passing through small villages each with their own culture. We gradually made our way up through the mountains until we reached Annapurna Base Camp on day 6, at 4130m high. We then descended back through the valleys before arriving back in Pokhara. Here we got the tourist bus back to Kathmandu.
The trek had some incredible views (most notably at Poon Hill) and we met some lovely people along the way and were cooked some amazing food.
Our guide was Ram Bhandari - without whom I truly believe would have been less memorable. He is a local Nepalese man with a young family who works incredibly hard to ensure his guests have a wonderful time. He takes time to ensure every member of the group is happy, comfortable and enjoying themselves (his favourite saying being: “if you’re happy, then I’m happy!” He phoned hotels in advance to ensure we had the nicest rooms with the best views of the mountains, he took orders for food, cooked food himself for us, bought chocolate and fresh fruit for us daily and lots more.
By the end of the trip I think it’s safe to say that ram was more of a friend than a guide and Im sure we will stay in touch
Special thanks must also go to our porters: Sujan, Chitra, Thakur who were all very smiley and did a great job carrying our bags.
Overall if you’re looking for a place to trek, I would highly recommend the Annapurna region but definitely make sure you book it with MMT - I can guarantee you won’t regret it!

Incredible Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
Just arrived back from the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek which I completed as a group of 5 friends in April 2022 and had the most incredible time thanks to Mountain Mark Treks, our guide Ram Bhandari and our porters Sujan, Chitra and Thakur.
Ram Bhandari made sure we had the most phenomenal trip by always going above and beyond his duties. He would ensure that every night we would have the best rooms with the best views. While trekking he would always provide us with chocolate breaks to keep energy high during the day. He ensured that everyone in the group was comfortable, despite differing levels of fitness and would always make sure he had provided us with enough water for the next part of the trek. Ram Bhandari would always take our order himself, breakfast, lunch and dinner and would always make sure we had eaten enough food. He even cooked some of our food for us while we were away- which tasted incredible! After dinner, Ram Bhandari would provide the group with plates of fruit in amazing patterns! Ram had great communication with us and would always explain the plans for the next day of trekking, making sure everyone was always happy and comfortable . During the day, while trekking, Ram would teach us about Nepalese culture which we all found very interesting.
Ram Bhandari was considerate, friendly, spoke great English and payed excellent attention to detail which is why I couldn’t recommend him enough as a guide with Mountain Mart Treks!

Adventure of a Lifetime "Annapurna Sanctuary Trek"
It is rare for me to write reviews however the fantastic past 2 weeks spent trekking around Nepal warrants an exception. Mountain Mart Treks (MMT) from start to finish were simply outstanding. Always attentive to any requests we may have had, MMT ensured that a group of 5 completely inexperienced trekkers got the most from every day in Nepal, organising interesting tours, quick transport and superb accomodation.
Whilst it would be easy to wax lyrical about the organisation of the trip, for me, where the company really stands out is the people involved within it. From the owner Dholak, who answered any questions or doubts we may have had at the beginning, our guide, Ram Bhandaru who provided us with information throughout and finally our porters Sujan, Chitra and Thakur who spent tireless days carrying our kit from one stop to another, all people involved in MMT were enthusiastic and extremely accomodating. Ram, for I think all of us, deserves particular praise and truly went out of his way every day to ensure we had the best possible experience. Providing motivation at any points we found difficult, finding the best places to stay and eat and often cooking for us himself he was honsetly exceptional and made what was always going to be a good trip great.
It is diffiuclt to praise the company enough for all their fantastic work so instead I would just like to thank everyone involved. For anyone looking for an advenuture of a lifetime, superbly organised and filled with a number of wonderful people look no further than MMT!

Amazing Everest Base Camp April Trek
Just came back from the 13 day Everest base camp trek. It is the most beautiful hike I have ever done, and nothing will parallel the experience of seeing several >8000 m peaks. We highly recommend Mountain Mart and especially our guide, Tilak and porter, Gevan. Tilak went out of his way several times to make us feel comfortable on the hike. He is a very experienced trekking guide, speaks English very well, and knows all of the trails and mountains as if they were his home. In addition, he is very knowledgeable and good at explaining the history of Mt Everest and local Sherpa culture. He was always prepared to give good advise on everything from the best food, to hiking, to altitude sickness. Gevan was a very kind and patient porter, and made sure to adapt to our speed on the hikes we did together. Both were very enthusiastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and porter. We had a problem free hike to base camp, both of us are relatively fit with past above 14k feet hiking experiences but are by no means very fit or very experienced at hiking. We opted to take the helicopter down after reaching base camp, for comfort, as we would have succeeded in the return trip. It was very easy to make this re-accommodation with mountain mart.

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
We completed the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek in April 2022. We did this as a group of five friends - none of us had experience trekking before. For reference we’re all 18-20 years old. The trek itself was beautiful with the mountains, but the experience was made by the team that took us. Our guide was Ram Bhandari - he is a local Nepalese man with a young family. Ram is very attentive - everyday he would provide us with a chocolate break, he would buy us fresh fruit every day for after dinner, which he would arrange himself. Ram is also an incredible cook and made the best momos and chicken curry we had on our entire trip. Ram would always offer us more food and wouldn’t eat until we had all finished; he would also teach us about local culture throughout our 10 days trekking. Every evening he’d explain the plans for the next day and check we were all ok. He was very accommodating for the different confident and fitness levels in the group and made everyone feel capable. Our sherpas were Sujan, Chitra and Thakur who were also very helpful and have a difficult job of carrying the bags all day, they were always there in the morning to collect our bags when we were ready and were always arrived at the hotel at the on time with our bags as well. Mountain Mart have a brilliant team working for them and Dholak should be very proud of the work they carry out. Thank you Ram and team for being so accommodating, we could not recommend them enough.

I just finished the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek over 10days!!
No doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have made it up to Annapurna Base Camp with out our guide Ram Bhandari. As he likes to say come as a guest and leave as a friend. I feel our group and him did just that. I had the most amazing experience over the 10 days largely thanks to Rem.
The scenery throughout the trek is beautiful and I personally wanted to take all the animals home!!! Annapurna Base Camp was the ultimate goal but I feel the journey there and back made it the ultimate achievement.
Ram is knowledgeable and smart with great connections in the community through out the mountains. You can tell people really enjoy his company and respect him. His humour is ok too!! Lol.
The fresh fruit provided everyday was one of my favourite moments with Ram. And playing cards with him every night. He truly made us feel welcomed in his country and safe. As three women that is very important!
Big shout out to our porters Kumar and Chitra. Amazing people who made us feel welcomed and carried our bags up very hard trails (I honestly don't know how)
I am already daydreaming about my next trek in Nepal but only with Ram as my guide and Mountain Mart!!

Recently, I had the pleasure of completing the Annapurna Sanctuary trek with my friends. This was quite daunting as it was the first time I had travelled outside of Europe and my first proper trek. Despite these concerns, the trip was a success, and I can owe that completely to the team at Mountain Mart Treks.
Throughout, the company worked hard to ensure the trip was easy and enjoyable for us all, covering travel as well as a tour around Kathmandu and booking brilliant accommodation. The owner of the company, Dholak, also made sure to meet us personally and taking us through every step of the trek and answering any questions we had. A notable example of the lengths Mountain Mart Treks went to help us along the way, is that when two members of my group were having issues with obtaining an Indian Visa, Mountain Mart Treks changed the time of our flight to Pokhara so that they could attend an interview.
The trek was an incredible, once in a lifetime experience. It offered amazing views, delicious food, an insight into a unique culture and a great sense of accomplishment. Despite being difficult at parts, every day was enjoyable and achievable. This ease and enjoyment can be entirely credited to our porters Sujan, Chitra and Thakur (who worked extremely hard and carried the main bulk of our bags the entire trip - around 30-40kg), and especially our guide Ram Bhandari.
Ram has been an exceptional guide, doing everything he could to make our trip enjoyable. Throughout the day, Ram would provide ample rest, resupply water and keep us motivated (thanks to his never-ending supply of chocolate!). Any questions we had on life in the mountains he would answer and offer personal anecdotes to give a nuanced picture of Nepalese life and culture. My favourites being teaching us the meaning of the different mountain names or showing us some of the tasty wild berries available on the various paths. Ram would also offer advice on the best food to have and often head into the kitchen himself to cook some of the best Momo and curries our group had ever had. Even after we had finished tea Ram would offer us fresh fruit, such as bananas, apples, pomegranates and oranges which were all displayed in incredible patterns - another example of the care Ram put into helping us through our trip. Ram made sure we were well fed before starting his own meal. This was a common trend throughout the whole trip, Ram always puts his guests first.
The accommodation along the route was also fantastic. Ram always ensured that the views from the hostels were incredible, offering alternative places to stay if the views there were better. These changes were always discussed as a group beforehand with Ram always making it clear what we would be doing the next day. This included the changes in plans, but it also included wake up times so that we could watch the sunrise as well as planning the timings of lunch and chocolate breaks.
Overall, this trip has been perfect, and I will always remember my time in Nepal fondly. It has been the best holiday I have ever taken, and I seriously recommend others to visit Nepal and embark on a trek. You will not regret it. Of course, if you are to embark on a trek, make sure to use Mountain Mart Treks, and especially ask for Ram Bhandari, he will not fail to make your trip an unforgettable one.

Excellent professional service from Mountain Mart owner, Dolakh and assigned team; guide Raju and porters Rudra and Prakash. Mountain Mart website was comprehensive and well designed with detailed Everyday itinerary. Dolakh was Super fast in addressing questions and concerns. On the trail, Raju managed our expectations really well, briefing us what to expect on the weather and trek the next day, and how to dress. More importantly, they monitored our health throughout the 10 days of trek making sure we did not hv signs of altitude sickness with the oxymeter, and checking with us on how we felt on the trek. Having a guide and 2 porters for the 3 of us was ideal. We had one to one company at our pace throughout the trek.
All in an excellent experience and I would hesitate to recommend Mountain Mart and their excellent guides and porters.
A Very Happy Customer,

Enjoy the popular trekking and tour packages in Nepal Himalayas. 2026.

From Jhinu Danda, we drop steep down to New Bridge and Landruk along Modi Khola. Agan, we ascend to Tolka village through thin forest and then to the ridge of Deurali from where we can witness the stupendous view of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake and sparkling glimpse of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchre, Hiunchuli and Dhaulagiri. Eventually, the trail from Deurali descends to Pothana for tonight’s shelter.
The trail today is easy and comfortable from Pothana to Phedi. From Pothana, we descend for an hour and then walk along the gravel road for couple of hours and finally descend for an hour to reach at Dhampus Phedi. From Phedi, we drive back to Pokhara. After 6-7 hours of drive, we reach at Kathmandu in daytime. Transfer to the hotel, be fresh, take some rest and explore Kathmandu in the evening time.
After delicate breakfast, check out your room and head to Tribhuwan International airport for departure flight. Final say: Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is customized to offer the best experience of trekking in the Annapurna Region. The trek is comparatively longer than other Annapurna Region Trek so trekkers don’t need to walk more than 6-7 hours a day in average; however, the time duration from one route to another route is generalized and may vary from trekker to trekker. Trekking in Annapurna region is possible in any seasons: we suggest you trek in the right seasons like spring and autumn. These seasons bestows melodious experience as trekkers can encounter variety of flora-fauna and endangered wildlife including Himalayan Thar, Yaks and Musk Deer. Also we can enjoy the good weather, green scenery, starry sky, glowing peaks and comfortable trek; but off seasons like summer and winter could be challenging due to slippery trails, climate change and bug problems in forest area. If trekkers take some precautions and consult with MMT, trekking in the Himalayan region could be more blessing and memorable

Tea / Coffee: USD 2–4 per cup
Hot Lemon / Ginger Honey Tea: USD 3–5

✔️ Prices increase with altitude
✔️ Avoid unnecessary bottled water purchases
✔️ Plan daily personal spending in advance
