Welcome to the Everest region in the Khumbu Valley, the second most popular trekking destination in the Himalayas of Nepal. Rest besides the shadow of the Himalayas in the Everest Base Camp (5346m) on the Khumbu Glacier.
We offer two short treks to explore the region’s culture and dramatic scenery – including Everest views, at altitudes below 4000m. The more demanding treks include the Gokyo Lake – Cho La Pass EBC Trek and the Three Passes Everest Transverse Trek which explores wider region with breathtaking scenery and multiple views of the highest peaks.
You can either do a long trek from the lowlands followed by early explorers – our Jiri to Everest Base Camp or a quick 35 minute flight from Kathmandu to the airport at Lukla (2642m).
The Trails takes you from village to village initially through forest and farmland to higher regions of alpine scrub, rock and ice. The tea houses offer a variety of dish for your requirement of “the foreign palate”.
Local porters will carry your luggage. You only need to carry a light day pack with warm/waterproof clothing, water, camera, sunscreen and hat.
The busiest trekking seasons are during Spring (March till May) and Autumn (September till November) but we offer treks in all four seasons.
