The trek starts 200 KM west of Kathmandu which is easy accessible by land and frequent flight to Lake city Pokhara. It has several other tourist destination in the city including caves, waterfalls, museums and Hindu goddess temple. The route takes as much as enough closer to feel the Himalayan wind with the sharp different flora and fauna. You will trek every day through different landscape and scenery which never tires you. The breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset over the huge Annapurna range feels as though once is not enough and definitely will bring you back to Nepal for a lengthier trip.

Pokhara Sarankot Trekking Detail Itinerary:
01 Arrive Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Meet MMT (Mountain Mart Treks) airport representative at International Airport and transfer to your choice of
Hotel /Resort /Guest house. Free afternoon. Involve well come dinner held by
MMT management, introduce guide, trip briefing and check trip necessities.
02 Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
After breakfast, day will start our guided trip to cultural
world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley such as, pilgrimage sites of Hindus
temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Stupa Bouddhanath, visit Swoyambhunath
Stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit
historical Patan Durbar Square & Kathmandu Durbar Square (Freak Street) with
temple, unique ancient art, architectures, museum and Kumari (living goddess).
Evening pre-trip counseling and ensure once again trekking gears, medical kid
and trek legalization needs.
Leisure and easy day for different interest.
03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
(910m/2,986ft), 5-6 hrs drive
Early morning 07:00 AM drive by tourist bus to Pokhara
through the beautiful countryside and following down steam of Trishuli River. (
famous river rafting for traveling with family & beginners) Arrive Pokhara
about 02:00 PM and transfer to your choice of Hotel / Resort / Guest House
overnight in Lakeside next to Fewa
Day 04: Drive to Phedi & trek Dhampus ( 1650m/5412ft)
30min drive & 4/5 hrs hiking
Morning after breakfast in Hotel
drive to trail head to Phedi 30min. drive and follow the stone staircases through
the beautiful dense forest. Trail continues through the typical villages and terraces
rice field that offer the awesome view of holy Mountain Machhapuchhre(fishtail:
6998m), Hiuchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7219m),Annapurna III (7575m),
Annapurna IV (7535m), Annapurna II (7937m), which make the trek extra thrill.
Eventually, you will be final destination Dhampus on the top of the ridge with
large countryside village. Overnight stay in Dhampus.
Day 05: Dhapmus - Sarangkot ( 1592m/5222ft), 5/6 hrs trek
After breakfast trail proceeds
down to Ghatte Khola along the farming terraces and finest view of valley where
we trek for today. The route rise up to Naudanda that offers great view of Lake
Fewa and Annapurna range as its’ crown.. Trail continues along the ridge with
plenty of typical villages with mysterious living styles, mostly flat to
Sarangkot with the tranquility view of large valley. Evening fantastic sun set
and enjoy dinner with the clear sky, bright stars (weather permitted) and
colorful lake city Pokhara . Overnight stay in Sarangkot.
Day 06: Sarankot –
Pokhara(910m/2986ft) 3-4 hrs trek
Early morning hike to view tower
and see the marvelous view of huge Annapurna range with fantastic view of Sun
rise. The tranquility deep valley and river apply extremely varied landscape to single trekker.
Trail descends steeply through the thatched roofed houses where we experience
in the solitude of the Himalaya. Finally, trail encounters a rice field which
located nearby Fewa Lake bank. Take an hour boat row, inspecting how long we
descend in 3 hours then, then back to the Hotel.
Day 07: Morning flight to
After breakfast transfer to
Pokhara Airport and fly back to Kathmandu. A left hand seats offers glorious
journey of Himalayas till land in Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel and free
afternoon for own interest.

Trip Information Section
Eating is a big part of Holiday. Travelling with Mountain Mart Trek, you experience the vast array of wonderful food Nepalese, Chinese, Continental, Italian and several local cuisines. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic and each place special food during your trip. Mountain restaurant owner prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater more trekkers with limited food before run off stuck. Its a week or more days hard work to porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants en-route.
A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out. Private rooms are available in most Tea Houses, except for high altitudes ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually hassolar lighting.
Most teahouses now also have electricity for charging small appliances - mobile phones and cameras - and there may be a small charge for this.
Mountain Mart Trek provides unlimited chlorine/Iodine treated water during the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers upon additional cost. We discourage the purchase of Mineral water and bottled water while on the Trek as plastic bottles aredifficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem

What to take
This is a very active trip, meaning you will be on the move most of the time, so pack as lightly as possible. We provide one porter for every two travellers; your trekking gear will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag that we will provide. The maximum the porters are allowed to carry 15 kgs per trekker means 30 kgs from 2 trekkers . Unnecessary luggage can left in Kathmandu Hotel and its absolutely free of cost. .
Important to note:
Please read the Checklist section of this trip notes for additional details of what you need to bring for the trek on this trip. You will need to bring a comfortable medium sized day pack to carry the things that you will need during the day. This should have a waist strap or (better) a padded waist belt. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the year.
