The three night Poon Hill trek was amazing! Our guide and porter were very friendly and attentive the whole way, making sure we had a nice time. Yukumar was a knowledgeable guide with lots of experience. Despite the lack of views (it was monsoon season!), we had a fantastic time and hope to come back another season with this group!

We did the 3 day Poon Hill trek with Yukumar and had a great time. Both Yukumar and our porter were super professional and knowledgeable, and despite traveling during rainy season, we were still able to get some mountain views. Highly recommend!

My partner and I did a three day trek starting in Pokhara all the way to Poon Hill - passing through Nayapool, Ulleri and Ghorepani in June 2024. Despite monsoon season we were able to get a glimpse of Annapurna South on two separate occasions! Our Sherpa Bhoj Tamang and our porter were amazing! They were helpful and very cheerful and ensured we got the most out of our experience. We would choose them as Sherpa and porter again when we come back to Nepal.

Guide name is Mr. Ram Bhandari. He took care of me whole day during my private trip to Nakarkot and Bhaktapur. He has amazing hospitality. He can speak English very well. He is very polite, honest and considerate. Since it was rainy season; low season, unluckily I couldn’t see panoramic view from Nakarkot. However with his good hospitality, I could completely enjoy trip in Kathmandu. He has good guiding skills for hiking and tracking. it's hard to find words, when you experienced an outstanding lifetime experience with an outstanding guide, named Ram and an, in every way perfectly organized trek.
I booked a lovely Hotel in the best location to stay in Kathmandu close to Themal street...the heart of this amazing city. The hotel Management and the staff are always there for you and provide everything you need.The new rooms are beautiful and clean, therefor the price value is hard to find anywhere else...not to forget the amazing roof terrace.
So i decided to book the Anapurna Base Camp Trek with these trustfully and so open hearted Hotel and Company.
So my guide Ram and i started my privat trekking Tour to one of the most exiting mountains and most stunning landscapes in the World.
Ram was always on my side and with his professinalism , knowledge and his wunderfull way of guest service as well as his open heart, i felt always safe, treated beautifully like never before during a tour. While these amazing five days of hiking to the Anapurna Base Camp he showed me the beauty, the taste and the power of wonderful true Nepal, the local people and the overwhelming Himalayan mountains.
For sure i will come back and planning to do the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek with Ram and this trekking company. I highly recommend this Guide and this Company.

This was a bucket list trip which was made possible by the magnificent organisational skills and experience of our guide Yukumar Magar. He tailored the trip to perfection, we got to visit so many interesting places and I think he also had a hand in making the clouds clear every time we needed to see the stunning scenery. You can tell he is experienced and knows all the best guesthouses with the best food and accomodation. We appreciated the extra efforts made for us to make this a special trip. Our porter Rham is very strong and funny. I hope you are lucky enough to get them as a guide team and that you choose Mountain Mart as your operator who made the preparation for the trip so easy. You are in for a once in a lifetime experience.

Fantastic trip. We had a well organised, thoughtful guide in Yukumar. We saw everything we wanted to despite it being end of the monsoon season and the weather packing in in the afternoon. He looked after us very well and we stayed at the best tea houses.

I done a couple of trekking with MMT and this round, I visited this beautiful hidden gem with my guide, Ram Bhandari. As always, MMT always put customer’s needs above everything and this trip is not an exception.
My trek with Ram has left me nothing but wonderful and beautiful memories of Tsum Valley. Treks itinerary is well arranged and have been tailored to my needs.
I have nothing but thumbs up to MMT and Ram who have been making this trip possible and wonderful.

We booked a night at Everest Boutique Hotel for our Nepal trip from home and met the Owner of Mountain Mart, Dolakh Thapa. First of all, he was able to reserve Lukla Flights at short notice, but these were cancelled due to the weather problem. Because we didn’t want to wait more days for better flying weather, we decided at short notice to do the Manaslu circumnavigation instead. Dolakh organized this 14-day tour within 24 hours with all permits and above all was able to win the competent and experienced guide Gokarna Maga for our tour. Gokarna is 32 years old, has a lot of mountain experience and shows prudence, helpfulness and care in every situation. Gokarna is above all a warm person and not a guide who wants to determine everything. We were able to choose our own lodge every night, even though we had booked a complete package with Dolakh, and were not simply admitted anywhere. This is something special! Gokarna also carried some of our luggage and looked after us in the morning, midday and evening. Guide Gokarna was able to convey a lot of safety even in difficult weather conditions and demanding terrain situations. All in all it was a successful Manaslu circuit and we would have Mountain Mart organize a trek with guide Gokarna again next time.

Unreal experience with Kumar (Yukumar) and Mountain Mart Treks. This was my second experience with Kumar and MMT and it was just as amazing as the first. Kumar was extremely helpful and professional whenever I had any questions or concerns and made the trips as comfortable as possible when I became a bit sick. He made a plan and ensured that I Summited Mera Peak. Kumar made sure everything ran smoothly and always had a smile on his face. Will definitely be booking another trip with Kumar and MMT in the future.

We booked our trip through Mountain Mart and we stayed at the Everest Boutique Hotel, the hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and welcoming.
The food was delicious and was a reasonable priced, we had a day trip around Kathmandu the guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The following day we headed off to Lukla to begin our Everest base camp trek, our guide Ram was in our opinion the best guide on the mountain from the beginning picking us up from the airport and by our side throughout the entire trek ensuring we had the best rooms, food and experience anyone could ask for. Ram is very attentive approachable and super friendly, while walking along the trails Ram was very knowledgeable with the surroundings everyday at our new location Ram would take us exploring to a monastery or a small hike to aid in our acclimatisation and for the most spectacular views. Our porter Biha was also outstanding he went above and beyond walking with us on our acclimatisation days to ensure our safety and always at the tea houses with our bags prior to our arrival. Overall this was the most memorable and best trip of our lives we highly recommend Mountain Mart and Ram to take you on an adventure of a lifetime.

We booked the Everest base camp comfort trek through mountain mart based in thamel, kathmandu. The communication was easy, all via whatsapp. We arrived at the airport and were greeted by our guide Ram. So friendly and helpful. We stayed at the everest boutique hotel and spa. Very clean and modern amenities. Friendly staff and great food.
We left for Lukla airport with Ram who organised everything at the airport for us. Once we arrived at lukla the adventure began. Ram went above and beyond for us from start to finish, every tea house along the way we were given the best rooms with ensuites and the options to try all the local Sherpa foods. At every stop we were taken to sight see either a monastery to watch the prays by the local monks or taken up a small mountain hike to take in the beautiful views. We were never rushed and always felt safe and comfortable with Ram as our guide. We had a porter named Biha who was great. He would come for hikes with us on acclimatisation days to help with our safety and to keep good company and laughs. Biha was always waiting at the next stop ready with our bags. Sometimes he would walk back along the tracks to meet us and offer to carry our back packs. Overall the trip was out of this world, and an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend Ram enough to anyone who is planning a trip to the Himalayas. I know we have a friend for life and will definitely be returning.

I just finished the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek over 10days!!
No doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have made it up to Annapurna Base Camp with out our guide Ram Bhandari. As he likes to say come as a guest and leave as a friend. I feel our group and him did just that. I had the most amazing experience over the 10 days largely thanks to Rem.
The scenery throughout the trek is beautiful and I personally wanted to take all the animals home!!! Annapurna Base Camp was the ultimate goal but I feel the journey there and back made it the ultimate achievement.
Ram is knowledgeable and smart with great connections in the community through out the mountains. You can tell people really enjoy his company and respect him. His humour is ok too!! Lol.
The fresh fruit provided everyday was one of my favourite moments with Ram. And playing cards with him every night. He truly made us feel welcomed in his country and safe. As three women that is very important!
Big shout out to our porters Kumar and Chitra. Amazing people who made us feel welcomed and carried our bags up very hard trails (I honestly don't know how)
I am already daydreaming about my next trek in Nepal but only with Ram as my guide and Mountain Mart!!

I recently completed the 10-day Annapurna Sanctuary trek, including Annapurna Base Camp with guide Ram from Mountain Mart, and I can’t recommend him and the company enough! This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, highlighted by breathtaking views and a fantastic guide.
From start to finish, our experience was seamless. Ram and Mounain Mart took great care of us from the moment we arrived in Kathmandu. We first stayed in the Everest Boutique Hotel in KTM which was beautiful and then the Lakeside Resort in Pokhara - all organised seamlessly by Mountain Mart.
Ram was exceptional—professional, passionate, and incredibly attentive. His extensive knowledge of Nepal and its culture made our journey up to ABC even more enriching.
As a group of three women, we felt completely safe with Ram. He was not only honest and kind, but also incredibly perceptive, always reading our energy levels on the trail. He ensured we were well-rested and well-fed, making sure we had the strength to tackle each day's challenges. He always went above and beyond (especially when making us the most beautiful fresh fruit platters every evening and providing us with chocolate and tea whenever our energy levels were low!).
Despite trekking during one of the busiest times, we always had private rooms and, whenever possible, private bathrooms. I noticed many other trekkers struggling with their tea house bookings, but Ram's experience ensured we had a smooth journey.
I would also like to mention our two porters, Kumar and Chitra. They not only carried our bags the whole way, but were always waiting for us when we arrived to give us a high five!
Ram kept our spirits high along the trail with engaging stories about his life and the beauty of the mountains around us. His rapport with local people and fellow guides highlighted the respect he commands in the region.
I wholeheartedly recommend Ram (Mountain Mart) as a guide for any trek in Nepal. We can’t wait to return and explore more with Ram leading the way!

It was a great experience!
The trek was well prepared and Gokarna took perfect care of everything. He was always there for us and always made sure everything fits for us.

We did a short one day trek to Nagarkot from Kathmandu with Ram, who was fantastic! Highly, highly recommend. It’s a perfect day trip for anyone who wants to get out of the city and see the mountains of Nepal, regardless of your trekking experience, even if you are a beginner like me. Ram is very kind and patient and stops for regular breaks when you need one and in beautiful places with amazing views. We saw wonderful villages and visited several temples and viewpoints along the way. It was the highlight of our trip to Kathmandu.

The trip was excellent. Our guide Sudip took great care of us and we had a chance to experience our first time hiking in Himalayas. If you think about going to higher mountains, a 3 day trip to Ghandruk, Tadapani, Ghorepani and Poon Hill is a great way to test your endurance. And Sudip is the best guide for all sorts of trips.

He catered to all our needs and really went to bat for us when problems arose. We spent less time with our porter Prem, but he was wonderful as well. The views were absolutely stunning! If I return to Nepal for any additional treks, I will definitely use Mountain Mart!

An amazing experience all around! From the initial booking to day 1 . Dolakh the agency owner was extremely helpful in answering questions and getting me pointed in the right direction for the needed travel/evac insurance. He was always ready to assist in anyway he could. The provided itinerary and packing list were spot on for everything we needed. We were greeted at the Kathmandu airport by our guide , Nabin, who was with us from that point on , every step of the way . We stayed one night in Kathmandu at the agency’s Everest Boutique Hotel, a really beautiful full service hotel nestled in the Thamel tourist district. From the beginning of the trek to the end , Nabin , our guide, waited on us hand and foot. He had breakfast to us as soon as we arrived in the lodge dining rooms each morning. He was clear in his communications each day and made sure we knew what to expect. Lunch along the trail was always a welcome stop. Usually at small village restaurant. Nabin attended to us getting our food ordered while we just relaxed and reenergized for the afternoon ahead. He was never pushy and made us feel like we had to stay on a schedule. The trek is built for you to enjoy and go as slow or fast as needed. We went slow and just enjoyed all the incredible scenery. And, wow, the scenery! A spiritual experience ! What a gift from God to all of us! Our porter, Prim, was amazing. He would pack out our trekking bags in the morning and have them waiting in our lodge rooms that evening. Incredible what these porters can do. I highly recommend this agency and trek. An experience of a lifetime!

The mountain views were amazing and so were the stars at night at Annapurna Base Camp. The trek itself can be challenging, but I think that the sense of satisfaction that you feel at the end is worth the challenge. Our guide Yukumar Magar was also always giving his best to make sure that we have the best possible experience in the mountains. I enjoyed this trek and highly recommend others to give it a try too.

My friend and I participated this trekking program and enjoyed the entire trip with a Gurkha guide Nabin and a Gurkha porter Sujan. Being Singaporeans, we always appreciate Gurkha Contingent protection and, especially, felt safe during this trekking tour with Nabin and Sujan. Our journey lasted for 9 days, during which we trekked 122.8 km in distance, exercised about 206 thousand steps and climbed 1,123 "floors" as per iPhone health measurements. Besides these cold numbers, we observed living styles of local Nepalese people on the rocky slops, plowing soil with helps of buffaloes, retrieving millet crops on open yard. In addition, the local Raksi wine made from millets and Khukri rum are also impressively tasty and unique.

We did the trek to EBC November 24 until middle December with Mountains Marts. The best of our trip of course was our guide Bhola who did our trip in Everest spectacular!!!
We are very happy with the service and support provided by Bhola; without him, the experience wouldn’t have been the same.
Bhola is a kind, sensitive, and noble person. He paid attention to every detail and showed us a piece of Nepal with great care and affection.
Without a doubt, an excellent service that we highly recommend, and if we ever do it again, it will definitely be with him.

The Poon Hill trek was a great experience. Our guide was amazing and very informative. He made the experience really Memorable and would highly recommend. The sights and experience of the trek was beautiful.
